On the left there is an original documentation set from a MAX 6000. Most of all old Ascend routers have been shipped with two of these huge books.

Later on Lucent did put it on CD, saving weight and freight costs.

We have 2 of these for sale, if you found out, a book can be read better than a screen, even if its slightly dark and noisy.

We are using a lot of books, to read the chapters we did search over the internet. Its a lot easier. However, all know Ascend manuals are in our Database.

We did put most of the known doc files on our PDF server and we did sort the content word by word in a huge index. May be you have some files not known by us, pls give us an e-mail.
